It was born as a mechanical company specialized in the production of small metal parts.
1992
Partnership with Avir
GM begins a solid partnership with the company AVIR S.P.A., a leading group in the production of hollow glass containers with over 40% of the Italian market share. It produces: collars, collar rings, blow-blow taps, blow-press punches, coolers, blowing heads, sheaths.
1995
CNC machines
First significant investments in CNC machines: CNC machining centers and tomes, the first automatic welders with PTA technology, are installed.
2010
First Robots
Technological impulse: the first anthropomorphic robots are installed for loading and unloading mechanical parts from machine tools.
2016
Exclusive hollow glass
GM abandons the small parts part and dedicates itself to molds for hollow glass.
2020
Technological update
New further technological impulse. Additional robots are installed for loading and unloading mechanical parts from machine tools.
2023
Start of Maintenance Departments
The mold maintenance departments are launched, dedicated to the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of all the mold components, both those useful for molding the mouth (collars, collar rings, taps) and those useful for forming the body of the glass container (molds and bases, sketchers and finishers).
